Celebration of Life for Lisa Henry Jacobs….
In honor of Lisa’s incredible life, and at her request, there will be three special celebrations to reflect the many people she touched and the meaningful places that shaped her journey. These gatherings will offer an opportunity for all who knew her to come together, share memories, and celebrate the lasting impact she made on each of us.
The celebrations will take place in Boulder, Vermont and a TBD location in the California Redwoods. This link is specifically for the Boulder Celebration:
December 7th, 2024: Sunrise Amphitheater at the top of Flagstaff Mountain, Boulder, Colorado. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. Depending on where you launch, it is a ¾ - 2 ½ mile hike to the amphitheater (where David and Lisa were married). The Amphitheatre is closed for the season, but Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks is fully aware and supporting our celebration. Please expect cold and snowy conditions and be prepared to be in the cold for 3-4 hours. Suggest hiking boots with clamp-ons. Make sure you are tracking the weather to be dressed appropriately. Please note that parking is extremely limited, but shuttles will be available.
For those planning to attend the December 7th event, its BYOP - bring your own picnic, snacks, wine, water, etc. We are trying to get an idea of how many people will be joining, so please click the link below to let us know if you plan to attend.
